Yasir Jan Notezai is a ninth grade student from the small town of Chagai in Balochistan. He represented Pakistan with a project that portrayed the crucial issue of climate change at the International Climate Olympiad. He was amongst 210 students that came from 21 countries. He made us and Pakistan proud when he won second place for his brilliant project.

In the current world, it is becoming more and more important to press how essential education is and how Pakistan’s youth needs it more than ever because we have such talented little gems like Notezai. If they get the right quality of education and care, then our country would definitely progress and present to the world how great we truly are capable of being.

Coming from a small town of Balochistan, Notezai also highlighted how the youth of Balochistan is being ignored and that they could do wonders and make Pakistan proud if only they were given the rights of education as well as good quality of life. If we do not invest in our younger generation then how can we expect our future to be bright since they are our future.
