Woman Comes Forward with Allegations of Harassment During Hajj
Performing Hajj is one of the most sacred acts that Muslims do. Khana e Kaaba is the holiest place of worship for Muslims and it is supposed to be where Muslims from all over the world come together in supplication and devotion for Allah. But, it seems that the degenerates of the world will not leave their depravity behind even in such a divine place as Makkah. Sabica Khan is a Pakistani woman that recently went to perform Hajj but instead of it being the reverent experience that it should have been, her trip was tainted by an act that made her feel violated.
Her post confessing how she got sexually harassed during tawaaf went viral. Then came in the outpouring of support and encouragement from people. Many other women since then have also come forward sharing their unfortunate experiences of being harassed during Hajj. There are many strict policies and punishments in place for such crimes, the Saudi police and authorities do not show any leniency towards such deplorable people. This has prompted every Muslim, and even non-Muslims, to show their dismay and ask for stricter methods to be taken to ensure something like this does not happen ever again. We, as humans and Muslims, have a duty to uphold the best of morals and humanity seems to be severely lacking that lately. It is our hope that as women find more encouragement to come forward with their experiences, they get the justice they deserve and such acts cease to happen.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
