Sushmita Sen Talks About Being Molested by 15 Year Old
The #MeToo and #TimesUp movements have garnered attention from all over the world including celebrities. Started by the celebrities of Hollywood to speak up about Harvey Weinstein’s heinous crimes against many women. The movement gained traction when not only celebrities but average folk came forward with their own experiences of sexual harassment and assault.
The movement has made headlines recently with many Bollywood celebrities finding the courage to speak up about such acts committed against them. One such star is also Sushmita Sen, renowned actress and model, who came forward about an experience with a 15 year old. She was at an event in Delhi when she opened up about how she was at an award show when a fifteen year old harassed her.
“Six months ago at an award function, a fifteen-year-old boy misbehaved with me as he thought I wouldn’t realise because of the crowd around. But, he was wrong. I grabbed his hand from my behind and I was shocked to see he was so young, he was just fifteen! I held him by his neck and took him for a walk. I told him if I make a hue and cry, his life would be over. He denied having misbehaved at first, but I made sure he understood that I knew. He realised his mistake, said sorry and promised me that it will never happen again.”
She went on to say that she took no legal action against him because she knew the young boy had not known that what he was doing was wrong and not entertainment. She also mentioned how the world thinks that just because celebrities, especially women, are surrounded by a team of bodyguards that no one would be able to get to them or hurt them. She emphasized that even with ten bodyguards around them, stars are still vulnerable to the disgusting predators in the crowd and can be harassed at any given moment.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
