Student From Pakistan Wins Bronze Medal at International Chemistry Olympiad
304 students from 76 countries participated in the 50th International Chemistry Olympiad that was held in Czech Republic and Slovakia this year from 19th to 29th July. Dr Khalid Mohammed Khan and Dr Muhammad Raza Shah of HEJ led a team of four Pakistani members from which Muhammed Suleman Thaniana of Karachi Grammar School won a bronze medal.
The contestants were finalized by HEJ Research Institute of Chemistry and the STEM Careers Programme (SCP). Out of 5000 applicants the four were chosen to compete and participate in the theoretical and experimental science competition.
