The Galaxy S9 is designed to improve social interaction that rely heavily on visual communication. The phone boasts improved camera features, an artificial-intelligence powered voice tool ” Bixby” that could read foreign signs by pointing the camera at it and translate it for you along with social media functions made to improve your experience. The camera has a software that can turn your selfies into emojis, and an automatic super-slow motion setting that could make your videos even better.
Currently, it seems that the innovation for smartphones has peaked and everyone is scrambling to come up with something other than just upgrades. New technology seems to be lacking these days, hence the decrease in the smartphone market recently. Samsung has also revealed that they are planning to improve upon accessories like wireless charger, mobile docking stations that can let you access your smartphone features on a desktop. Will it take on the Apple iPhone X head-on? That is yet to be seen as the phone will be officially in market on March 16th in most countries.
