Samjhota Express suspended in wake of rising tensions
In the midst of heightening pressure among Pakistan and India, the Samjhota Express was suspended on Thursday, said an announcement by the Foreign Office (FO).
The Samjhota Express – a fortnightly train – keeps running from Lahore to India’s Attari.
The suspension of the train administration left 16 explorers at the railroad station. An aggregate of 21 individuals had booked tickets for the train, out of which five had dropped their tickets. The rest of the travelers were educated of the crossing out.
