Moomal Rano, previously titled Mohabbat Ki Akhri Kahani, which has been in production for three years has finally been green-lit to be screened at the Pakistan International Film Festival (PIFF) as well as being released in theaters and on tv channels soon. The movie stars Saba Qamar and Ahsan Khan as star-crossed lovers akin to that of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet.

It follows the Sindhi folktale of two childhood lovers separated by difficult circumstances. The film’s trailer shows that it is full of heart-wrenching, romance, desperation and passion. The movie that includes a cast like Hussain Qadri, Asad Qureshi, Salman Saeed and Zainab Jameel has already been screened at international film festivals like the Wollongong Film Festival (2017) and the Jaipur International Film Festival (2018).
