Butlers Chocolate Cafe is well loved and visited by the people of Pakistan because of their delicious desserts and other assorted treats. But recently, a post about the cafe on Facebook went viral because of the harsh look behind the scenes of such a huge eatery.

The reality of the non-hygienic conditions of such a big cafe caused shock and uproar on social media. Ali Moeen Nawazish, who is a famous public speaker, also talked about it saying, “The things people have to put up with to eat out in Lahore. Pehle Khota, ab lota.” 

The Punjab Food Authority took notice of the serious transgression and promptly shut down the cafe’s Lahore branch. Nawazish then posted on his Facebook:

We do hope that other restaurants and establishments take this as a lesson and improve upon their conditions.
