PFA Has Sealed Around 20 Restaurants in Lahore

The Punjab Food Authority has officially sealed around twenty restaurants in Lahore based on poor hygienic conditions of the workplace. Restaurants in Liberty market, Gaddafi stadium and M.M Alam road were closed down.
Apparently, according to reports, the cleanliness in the restaurants was in bad shape. Cockroaches were found as well, the kitchens were kept dirty and stale vegetables were being used as ingredients. These restaurants cannot be open again until they have improved the conditions. If the cleanliness standards are met, then the PFA could allow them to start business again.
