Pakistan’s Very Own Waste-to-Energy Plant to Be Set Up
The National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) has officially issued a license to Lahore Xingzhong Renewable Energy Company Limited in order to set up Pakistan’s first ever power plant that will use solid waste to generate 40 megawatts of electricity in Lahore.
This is in hopes to promote the idea of domestic and renewable energy in the country. The plant will also be featured with state-of-the-art technology and generation facility that will help turn waste into energy. The goal with the project is to solve the city’s waste disposal problem and provide with much needed energy as well.
Such initiatives and solutions should be encouraged because with them we can have a healthier and cleaner way of life with less energy problems that are currently plaguing the country.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
