There is Now an App to Report Hate Speech
The National Counter Terrorism Authority (NACTA) has developed and released an app named CHAUKAS that is meant to be used to report hate speech or any activity that is extremist. Interior Minister Ahsan Iqbal launched the app on Monday as part of “The Safe City Project” which is an initiative taken to use technology and its benefits in order to keep the city safe from all kinds of threats. Vehicle Management System Cameras, Intelligence Video Surveillance and Number Plate Recognition are part of this initiative as well.
The app will be available on iOS and Android both. Through the app, you could report any activity that looks like terrorism or extremism. The complaints will go directly to the police, FIA and law enforcement authorities in Pakistan. Ahsan Iqbal has ordered all the authorities to take timely action on the reports. He believes that the direct involvement of people will help combat terrorism around us and online as well.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
