There are not many Pakistani commercials that leave you feeling like you watched something amazing. The level of commercials is subpar but the new Peek Freans Cake-up commercial has proven us wrong. The commercial, titled “A Mother’s Love”, shows a working mother seemingly too busy to pay attention to her son because she has her hands full of household work and her job. When the young boy goes to school feeling like his mother ignored what he wanted to say, he gets a surprise delivery of a lunch box. Upon opening it, he finds a personal note written by his mother along with a Peek Freans Cake-up. The note reminds him that no matter how busy she may get, she will always be there to listen to him and provide him with what he wants.

The commercial goes on to show how the mother keeps leaving sweet and loving notes for the boy with the Cake-up throughout, and keeps teaching him important life lessons even though they are not having a physical interaction. The end shows the mother finding a note in her lunch, written by her son, reminding her of how sweet things get even sweeter when shared. The commercial will definitely leave you feeling emotional and we recommend giving a fierce hug to your mothers because they truly are God’s most wonderful creatures.
