The 1964 classic with Julie Andrews as the iconic Mary Poppins is now getting a sequel in the form of Emily Blunt as the magical nanny in Mary Poppins Returns. The story is set 20 years after the first one, when Jane, played by Emily Mortimer, and Michael Banks, played by Ben Whishaw, are now all grown up and in need of Poppins magic again.

It seems that the Banks have faced a loss and Mary Poppins is back in the setting of Depression-era London to help them discover the joys of life again. Lamplighter Jack, played by Lin-Manuel Miranda, and cousin Topsy, played by Meryl Streep, will be back to help Mary along with Colin Firth, Angela Lansbury, Julie Walters and Dick Van Dyke in this Rob Marshall directed film. The movie will be out in UK on December 21st.
