Mars is the Closest to Earth in 15 Years As of Now
In a month of stargazing wonders, Mars will come closest to Earth in 15 years tonight with only 57.6 million kilometres of a distance. The next time it will be this close to our planet again is October 2020. The sun will be on one side while the red planet on the other, putting the three celestial bodies in a straight line.
You can witness the event happening from the Southern Hemisphere like parts of India but not from South America, Australia or South Africa. But to those who do not want to miss out, the NASA Griffith Observatory has a livestream set up to capture the whole thing.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
