In a move to be more accessible to the youth and incorporate digital media in the police system, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police has launched a Snapchat account after launching an app earlier in the year.

The photo sharing app could hopefully help people notify authorities soon about any crime happening around them. According to IG K-P Salahudin Mehsud about the Android app, “By pressing one button, the police would automatically be notified promptly about the crime, and concerned police stations and city patrol forces will reach the site immediately.”
