Karan Johar is the First Indian Filmmaker to Get a Wax Statue in His Honor
It is not uncommon for Indian actors or singers to get wax statues made in their honor. But the recent honor has been bestowed on Karan Johar who is the first India filmmaker to get a wax statue made. Madame Tussauds has kept the tradition alive by honoring the best in the field of the particular artist they choose. Karan Johar is not only famous and successful as a filmmaker in India but worldwide as well.
The director tweeted on his official twitter, announcing the honor he is receiving with a picture of him holding a handprint of his hand and a Madame Tussauds briefcase with his biography book An Unsuitable Boy on the table as well.
