Islamabad High Court Issues Warning to Hosts for Not Showing Appropriate Content in Ramadan Broadcasts
Islamabad High Court has told Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) to officially notify the hosts of all Ramadan broadcast shows to be respectful of the holy month of Ramadan and not show or take part in any inappropriate content during their show. Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui has taken the action to stop these tv personalities from playing games of luck or participating in other activities that take away from the true message and meaning of Ramadan.
Amir Liaquat, Faisal Qureshi, Fahad Mustafa, Sahir Lodhi and Waseem Badami are some of the hosts who have been notified and warned. The judge said that if the orders are not obeyed than these personalities could face a lifetime ban from PEMRA. The court has also ordered a close inspection and report on Indian channels being broadcast.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to email@example.com
