Is Christiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid For Juventus?
Back in April, Cristiano Ronaldo stunned Juventus’ home support with a spectacular bicycle kick.
The Turin fans rose to their feet and gave the Portuguese star a standing ovation, as he showed his appreciation with a chest pump.
He said after that Champions League quarter-final: “That was one of the nicest moments I’ve had this evening.
“For people to applaud me at a stadium like that of Juventus, where they’ve had great players and where they have great players, is a top moment.
“I’m very happy and excited because this has always been a club that I’ve liked since I was a little boy. For them to applaud you, that stays in your heart. I have to thank all of the Italians who were here in the stadium and who applauded me. Grazie!”
Cristiano Ronaldo has received an offer to leave Real Madrid and join Italian champions Juventus. The Portugal forward was reported to be on the verge of leaving last June after a news story appeared in Portuguese newspaper Record declaring he was unhappy with the club. He also caused a stir in 2012 when he declared in a post-match interview after a game with Granada: “I’m sad and the club know why.”
Ronaldo, who joined Real from Manchester United in 2008 for a then world record 80 million pounds ($105.65 million), is the Spanish club’s all-time top scorer with 451 goals in all competitions and has won two La Liga titles and four Champions League trophies with them. Rumors say that Ronaldo has been offered 88 million pounds to join the Juves.
