Ghouta is back on world gaze by number of airstikes , rockets, mortals despite UN demanded ceasefire for most ferocious assaults of Syria’s civil war.

On Saturday, the Security Council demanded cease fire for 30 days to provide medical and evacuations.

It was hoped that the blood-sheds of the innocents will stop. But due the ongoing  airstrikes raised the question about when and how this cease fire will be implemented.

In Douma, the main town in Eastern Ghouta, fresh air raids and artillery strikes could be heard Sunday, an AFP correspondent said.

The Syrian American Medical Society, which supports a hospital in the besieged area, posted pictures on Twitter of small children using breathing apparatus.

“We confirm that 16 patients, including 6 children & 4 women, suffering from symptoms indicative to exposure to chemical compounds were treated” at the facility, it said.

At the end of the week,  total number of dead in the week raised upto 530, among them over 130 children.

Eastern Ghouta, home to some 400,000 people, is surrounded by government-controlled territory and its residents are unwilling or unable to flee.

People from all over the world are receiving videos and images of the horrors happening in Ghouta. Children are dying , women are losing their husbands and the whole world is still silent.

The innocents are still waiting for help. They have no one except God.

A total of more than 340,000 people have been killed and millions driven from the homes in Syria’s war, which next month enters its eighth year with no diplomatic solution in sight.
