Game of Thrones is a show that is known to devastate and shock its fans. Looks like the show creators will not be straying far from this tradition, as forewarned by actress Sophie Turner who plays the character of Sansa Stark.

In a recent interview with Gold Derby, the actress talked about the much-anticipated final season of the show that fans are dying to see. According to her, fans should prepare because the show will feature “more death and emotional torture” in its final season.

“It’s Game Of Thrones so it is going to be bloodier and more death and more emotionally torturous than all the years before”, the British star said about the climactic ending to a series about who gets the Iron Throne.

She revealed, “I can tell you that there’s definitely a coming together of people to fight the impending doom. There’s a lot of tension between these little groups, battling for what they think is right.”

As for her own character who has been through some really traumatic and tragic experiences in the show, Turner stated “I always saw something of a warrior in Sansa that I don’t think other people really saw. I always had the feeling that she was learning and adapting and at some point or another it was going to manifest itself somehow. And she manifested it into being a warrior. It felt really satisfying when it happened, and I’m really happy where this story-line for her has ended up.”

Fans of the show can expect to see the tumultuous 8th season of the hit HBO show next year when it airs.
