The residents of Karachi were relieved after the first heat wave calmed down, but then again another heat wave hit the city starting Tuesday. The meteorological department warned the citizens of Karachi on Sunday to be prepared for another heat wave.

Karachi not only faces the heat in the weather, but also suffers from power outages all around the city. The heat plus no electricity makes it difficult for the people of Karachi to manage.

A meteorological expert said that the heat wave is expected to be witnessed until Thursday 31^st May 2018.

The heat in the city is attributed to a halt in the sea breeze which is likely to continue till Thursday. The maximum expected temperature is to be ranged between 41-44⁰C due to the change in direction of sea breeze.

The scorching heat of the city forced the Board of Examination to change the timings of examinations to 8.30 am.

The PMD has advised the citizens to avoid a heatstroke and to stay hydrated.
