From the creators of Riverdale, comes the new dark and creepy show Chilling Adventures of Sabrina which is based off popular comic Sabrina the Teenage Witch. The retelling is supposed to be similar in tone with the movies The Exorcist and Rosemary’s Baby. Which means we count on some true chilling themes.

The first look was shared by Kiernan Shipka who plays the teenage witch on Friday the 13th, quite appropriately. Shipka introduces everyone to the show’s coven, including Miranda Otto and Lucy Davis as Aunts Zelda and Hilda.

The creator, Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, also shared a teaser on twitter:

It depicts that the show will be a real horror treat filled with candles, spooky trees, a big moon and of course “Salem” the cat. The show is going to portray how “finds Sabrina wrestling to reconcile her dual nature — half-witch, half-mortal — while standing against the evil forces that threaten her, her family and the daylight world humans inhabit.” We can’t wait to binge watch this while curled up in a blanket and let the fear take over.
