FX has released the first teaser trailer of the upcoming eighth season of American Horror Story and it looks enticing. You can not gather much plot details in the first look but we do get to see some of the fan-favorite characters return such as Evan Peters, Taissa Farmiga, Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Dylan McDermott, and Frances Conroy. We can also see Emma Roberts, quoting her iconic line “I bet you thought you’d seen the last of me.”

The season will be crossover between the first and third installment of the series, “Murder House” and “Coven“. Actors like Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga and Evan Peters are not just reprising their old characters but also playing new ones. Other cast members include Kathy Bates, Gabourey Sidibe, Lily Rabe, Connie Britton, Adina Porter, and Billie Lourd. The apocalyptic themed season will air on September 12th.
