Ed Sheeran Sued for Copying Song from Marvin Gaye
Ed Sheeran is being sued for $100 million for allegedly copying parts of Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On”. It’s alleged the singer ripped off sections of the 1973 classic for his number one hit “Thinking Out Loud”. According to the legal documents, the singer copied “the melody, rhythms, harmonies, drums, bass line, backing chorus, tempo, syncopation and looping”.

Structured Asset Sales is the company that filed the claim which owns part of the copyright of Gaye’s song. This is not the first time Ed Sheeran has had to respond to such claims, as the singer settled a $20 million copyright infringement claim against his hit song “Photograph”.
It is yet to be known whether there is any truth to this claim as Sheeran has yet to respond to the filed case.Disclaimer:We do not allow users to post content which is copyright and We take strict actions against the users who post infringement content on our website.Although we do not host any content, users post embed videos from youtube, facebook, Dailymotion and Vimeo and are moderated before posting but we still take strict action against the copyright videos posted. If you are an official representative of any company whose videos are posted illegally on our website or you think some video infringe the copyright then you can simply send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org
