J. is one of the top designer brands in Pakistan that was helmed by the late Junaid Jamshed and they have been successfully taking over the perfume industry as well recently. Their recent commercial for the latest “Vocal” fragrance shows Fahad Mustafa in setting where every one around him copies him and his style.

The commercial is quite nice, with a great production value and of course who does not like seeing Fahad Mustafa’s handsome face? But it all went downhill when, after the commercial was released a few days ago, people noticed a few similarities between it and the 2016 H&M “Modern Essentials” commercial with David Beckham. Here are the two commercials so you can judge for yourself:

I mean anyone with eyes can see that the two are the same. But who copied whom? Since the H&M commercial came out in 2016 and the J. commercial just a few days ago, we are inclined to believe it is the latter. The irony is not lost on us, a commercial about people copying the main star? Yikes…
