CEBO – Caters Event Bakers Organization which is a organization that provides platform to the women who wants to run their own business. It supports the women who sit at their home and run their business and also engages them to the current market. CEBO started as a Facebook group year ago and now it has a big count of women members. On Saturday, 7^th of April 2018 CEBO celebrated its first birthday at North Nazimabad Gym Khana. Where CEBO’s members and proprietor Chef Samia Jamil hosted the guests. The décor of the venue was done by one of the member of CEBO and the beautiful birthday cake of CEBO was also made by one of the oldest member of this organization.

In this event female guests were also invited to encourage the women who are running their business. As in our society it is not easy for women to be independent. Dr. Shaista Lodhi who is a well known host of different morning shows came to the event and shared few words of inspiration from her own life experiences. Naz Baloch a famous politician also came for the cake cutting ceremony and gave motivational speech to the entire team of CEBO. Tabinda Lari who is the General Manager of Habil Oil Cooking was also in attendance. Other than that Chef Sadaf Umair was also there and engaged herself with the Women of CEBO and appreciated their work.

There were different activities for the team CEBO and guests which included Kite flying competition along with lemon-spoon race. The members of CEBO brought different hampers for the guests. And different sponsors also sent their gift hampers to offer it to the guests. The event ended up with cake cutting ceremony, Guest Naz Baloch was the one to cut the cake. Before the cake cutting ceremony to celebrate fire crackers were fired. And the view was very beautiful the whole team of CEBO celebrated and the event came to end with the buffet served by the North Nazimabad Gymkhana.

The initiative that CEBO took is very big and was much needed for the women of Pakistan to make them stand on their own feet. We hope CEBO flourishes more and women of Pakistan gets more independent.
