British renowned scientist,  physicist Stephen Hawking died at the age on 76.

He was known as world greatest scientist , Hawking was also a  cosmologist, astronomer, mathematician and author of numerous books including “Brief History of Time”.

He was just 22 when he was diagnosed with the rare disease form of neurone disease.

Due to his illness he was left bounded in a  wheelchair and use to talk by using voice synthesizer.

In a statement his children grieve and said ; We are deeply saddened that our beloved father passed away today.

“He was a great scientist and an extraordinary man whose work and legacy will live on for many years.”

They said his “courage and persistence” and said his “brilliance and humour” inspired people across the world.

“He once said, ‘It would not be much of a universe if it wasn’t home to the people you love.’ We will miss him forever.”

Hawking along with the fellow physicist , merged Einstein  theory of relativity and quantum mechanics. He suggested that the world started with the Big Bang theory and ends in the black hole.

Hawking also discovered that black hole inst pure black , but emit radiations and  evnetually evaporate and get disappears.

The scientist also gained popularity outside the academic world. He was featured in number of series and films including The Simpsons, Red Dwarf , The Big Bang Theory and the film The Theory of Everything .
