We all strive to learn a great skill or two in our lifetimes, but not many people succeed. Some are either born with special talent or learn it through extensive practice. Playing the piano is one skill that not many can master yet those who do are quite good at it.

Many professionals practice for years and then become professionals by the time they are in their 30s or 40s. No one in their later years practices a skill they either have or don’t. The older you get the more relaxed you become so it makes sense you do not want to do anything but rest and enjoy life.

That is not the case with this 103 year-old woman though. Colette Maze was born in 1915 and has played the piano for over a century. Here she shares her love of the instrument and her secrets to growing old.
