5G Services to Be Introduced in Pakistan by Next Year
Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui who is the Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication announced on Tuesday that Pakistan will be introduced to 5G network services in the next year. The country is already experiencing a great number of subscribers of 3G and 4G broadband services with increases in the number everyday.
“We need to introduce more innovative services in mobile broadband not only to facilitate consumers but also to attract foreign investment and meet modern-day requirements,” said Siddiqui. “The world is changing rapidly and to compete with other nations we need to adopt new technologies.”
He also mentioned how foreign companies want to invest in Pakistan because it ranks fifth largest regarding freelancers. Such progressive methods will take the country towards development and foreign investment.
