Serial killers have always plagued this world, whether in the form of blood-thirsty Kings or average men who just took their anger out on the world. Many of them, fictional or otherwise, have been immortalized in movies. Many Hollywood movies portray these serial killers and their stories to satisfy our morbid fascination with them. 1. Silence of the Lambs (1991)
Starring Jodie Foster as the young Detective Clarice Starling who has been tasked with finding a killer and goes to ask for Dr. Hannibal Lecter’s help, played by Anthony Hopkins, because who else would know more about a serial killer than “Hannibal the cannibal” himself?
2. American Psycho (2000)
Based on the novel by the same name, Christian Bale plays the character of Patrick Bateman who is obsessed with success and status. He is also a serial killer that kills and tortures people for fun and no obvious purpose.
3. Se7en (1995)
One of David Fincher’s best films, starring Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman as detectives who are looking for the serial killer, also coined the famous phrase “what’s in the box?”.
