Young Prince Louis Christened at Private Ceremony
The youngest son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Louis Arthur Charles who was born on 23rd April, was christened in a private ceremony at Chapel Royal in St. James’ Palace.
The 11-week-old Prince was dressed in the same christening robes that Prince George and Princess Charlotte wore to their christenings. The Duchess, Kate Middleton was dressed in a white Alexander McQueen dress with a hat from Jane Taylor.
Newlyweds Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, were also in attendance with this being Meghan’s first time being present for a royal christening. Meghan wore an olive green Ralph Lauren dress with a Stephen Jones hat.
Other attendees included the Prince of Wales along with the Duchess of Cornwall.
Kate’s parents Carole and Michael Middleton, sister Pippa Middleton and her brother James Middleton.
After the ceremony, the guests even ate the seven-year-old cake from William and Kate’s wedding, which is a tradition in Britain. One of the tiers of the wedding cake are kept to be eaten every time a child of the couple gets christened.
