The New “Mowgli” Trailer Shows a Darker Side of The Jungle Book
The first trailer for Warner Bros. movie Mowgli, directed by Andy Serkis, was just released and it shows a darker side of the Rudyard Kipling classic children’s story The Jungle Book which showed a boy who grew up in the jungle of India.
The trailer shows Mowgli, played by Rohan Chand, locked in cage at first and then his friend Bagheera makes an appearance, voiced by Christian Bale. We also get to see Benedict Cumberbatch’s version of Shere Khan in a scary CGI reanimation. Disney also released a version of the story The Jungle Book but this one seems to follow a darker mood. The cast includes big names like Cate Blanchett, Andy Serkis, Matthew Rhys, Freida Pinto and Naomi Harris. The movie releases on October 19th this year.
