Ali Zafar and Maya Ali’s Teefa In Trouble had the most successful opening day and weekend in the history of Pakistani cinema. The film released on Friday, 20th July and bagged a good 2.3 crores on the first day.
On the second day, it collected another 2.5 crores. Since it’s release, the film collected more than 4.8 crores making it the biggest opening ever for a Pakistani film.
Teefa in Trouble has dethroned Jawani Phir Nahi Ani. Despite the release not being on a weekend or a holiday, it was able to make such success.

Teefa in Trouble revolves around ‘Teefa’, the character of Ali Zafar who is an enforcer for Butt Sahab (Mehmood Aslam) who hires him to kidnap the daughter of his friend Bonzo (Javed Sheikh), Anya (Maya Ali) for his son.
Teefa then travels to Poland where Anya is currently present and kicks off the story from there.
