Emilia Clarke’s Emotional Goodbye to ‘Game of Thrones’ Will Make You Weep
It is no breaking news that Game of Thrones is ending but it is still a hard pill to swallow for the show’s fans. With the filming of the final and eighth season of HBO’s Game of Thrones having been wrapped, the show is already over for the cast and crew.
Emilia Clarke, who plays the fan beloved Daenerys Targaryen in the hit tv show, posted a heartfelt message on her Instagram saying goodbye to the show that not only catapulted her to fame but also gave her an amazing group of friends for life that she considers family.
She writes, “It’s been a trip @gameofthrones thank you for the life I never dreamed I’d be able to live and the family I’ll never stop missing.” She also got comments from her co stars like Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister) wrote “Sweet words. Love you and HOLY balls. #itistheend”, Jason Momoa (Khal Drogo) said “Love u. Proud of you.”, and John Bradley-West (Samwell Tarly) wrote “It’s been the best. Ever. And you’ve been incredible.”
The fans will surely lose it once their beloved tv show comes to an end and the sweet goodbye message from the actress shows how much the cast will also miss the tv show once it finishes. We will definitely miss our lovely Daenerys Targaryen, First of Her Name, the Unburnt, Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, Breaker of Chains, and Mother of Dragons.
