As the stakes of the decisions we make for our hero go higher, the lines between his existence and the amusement’s various pathways start to obscure.
With Bandersnatch and its ostensibly gimmicky intuitive configuration, maker Charlie Brooker has some way or another made the most insightfully exasperating and perhaps the best time scene of his showstopper Black Mirror.
Each consummation by one way or another falls in an alternate classification, much like the parallel universes though Roquentin shouts, “anything can happen, anything can occur.”
While the world has been diverted by the Bird Box Challenge (on account of Sandra Bullock-featuring Netflix film Bird Box), Bandersnatch is discreetly driving the path towards the fate of narrating: an all the more captivating, intelligent experience where you pick your own experience.
