Beauty pride Dia Mirza slams patriachry
Karan Johar, Ajay Devgn, and Akshay Kumar met Indian PM Modi to discuss issues existing in Bollywood.
“Heartfelt thank you to the honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking out time to hear us at length, discuss issues pertaining to our industry and assuring positive consideration of suggestions,” the Goldactor wrote in a tweet.
Dia Mirza reacted to Akshay’s tweet and raised worry about the zero portrayal of ladies in the gathering. She says sexual orientation fairness must be accomplished if ladies must be a piece of everything being equal.
“This is wonderful! Is there a reason why there were no women in this room,” Dia posted.
“It’s not about competition! It’s such a fundamental thing. If we hope to achieve equality we must be included in all conversations! Of course women are doing well. We are doing well despite the fact that we are excluded. And doesn’t that need to change?”
The gathering, held in Mumbai on Tuesday, had a room brimming with men. The assignment, including any semblance of Karan Johar, Akshay Kumar, Bhushan Kumar, Siddharth Roy Kapur, and Prasoon Joshi, pitched for lower and uniform rates of GST for media outlets in India, aside from requiring the improvement of Mumbai as the worldwide diversion capital, through different activities and proactive methodologies.
