Based on a novel by Caroline Kepnes, You stars Gossip Girl alum Penn Badgley as Joe, a bookstore manager who immediately becomes obsessed with a woman he meets. Joe is every woman’s 2018 nightmare: He uses social media to stalk her online and IRL, and she’s intrigued, even as her friends realize he may be trouble. Come for Badgley and stay for the thrilling plot, which unfurls over 10 episodes.
Starring Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, who play patients undergoing a “mysterious pharmaceutical trial”, the 10-episode drama is based on a Norwegian show and follows the characters as they venture into various fantasy worlds. Premiers September 21st.
Reboot of the 90s tv show with the same name, it follows the story of three sisters who discover they are witches destined to fight evil. The new episodes shift a few elements from the original, including moving the story to a new setting in the fictional town Hilltowne, but keeps the same magical, compelling fantasy at its core. Premiers on October 14th.
4. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina
Sabrina the Teenage Witch gets a darker, moodier treatment in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a spin-off of Riverdale, Shipka plays a half-human, half-witch who is attempting to have a normal teenage life while learning about the supernatural. The series is a contemporary re-telling of the classic ‘90s show, which starred Melissa Joan Hart as a perky Salem teen. Premiers October 26th.
5. Happy Together
This is a sitcom based on a quirky period of pop star Harry Styles’ life. Just as he once crashed with a regular family in their suburban home to escape the hyped-up celebrity life, Cooper drops in on his accountant, played by Wayans Jr., and his wife whose regular lives get thoroughly disrupted. But kind of in a good way. Premiers on October 1st.
